Zebras

Everyone is looking up at me
And yet I am falling like a rain drop
Rehab was a waste of time
                  We played football some days
Lined up horses from a beer commercial
Zebras were the refs of our life
This stallion reared at the other team
          Running across the land
A stiff leg knocked me down
                  I got right back up
                          The chase was on
                                  Two feet behind
          Now galloping galloping
With each stride I got closer
                          From behind I jumped
          Knocking down the opponent
  And the game was over
The days were filled with nonsense
Majority of the kids go back into the world
  Relapsing
          I was one as well
  Being sent to be with
          Other addicted drug addicts
          Didn’t help at all
