The Passenger
Im but a passenger on the road of life
Glaring out the windows
Staring at the people
Who are but who are not truly equal
A passenger tightly secured in my seat
Nervously tapping my feet
Looking at the lit up street
Who live their lives in the cities heat
A passenger led by a government
Fed a mystical religion
Listening to the music
Trying ever hard to make a decision
A passenger waiting to live
Taken from the tree
Aroused at indecency
Its such a bloody scrutiny
A passenger whose leaving today
Turning away from fortification
Or maybe from hell
Descending to heaven
A passenger who must read in-between the lines
Developing the idea of evolution
Learning about my generation
Eked out from the over exposed
A passenger whose part pure passed
Opening an eminence
Thats truly immense
Who never makes any sense
A passenger comprised of notes
Playing my own music
Its only in my head
Its all in my head
