Flight of the Drive

You are right next to me
Not saying a single word
Sitting so still so silently
What is your name I cry out
Only to realize my lips are not moving
My voice not heard
Staring at your crossed legs
Those hands
Those beautiful hands
Moving through you curly long brown hair
Then you shrug back in your little seat resting your head against it

Of course I think you dont notice me
I play it cool relaxed
What a fool am I
I begin to stir up courage
Thinking about romance
I take out a little business card
I made it myself
On the back I write
I didnt pass you by in my way into the world
Suddenly without notice or a word
You stand up and exit
I think what am I to do
Do I chase after you
I look at the card I made
As I shrug back in my seat resting my head against it
